Retired USAF and Department of Defense (DoD) employee. Currently Adjunct Faculty member, Barstow Community College (BCC), Barstow CA. Native up-state New Yorker and spent a considerable number of years in Germany while employed by DoD. Relocated to from Germany to California Nov 99.

While in Germany I gained considerable experience as a teacher/lecturer at several American universities offering college level programs for US Forces, and family member’s overseas. Because of my command to speak, read and write German I was also appointed teacher/lecturer at Schiller International University Heidelberg, University of Pardubice Institute of Foreign Languages former Czech Republic and the Heinz-Kommunikations und Sprach (language) Training Institute Muhlheim/Main Germany.

Last Department of Defense position was Deputy Director Fleet Support Division Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) Barstow CA. While at MCLB I saw the need and realized the potential for BCC to develop a logistics/warehousing curriculum. I developed a proposed curriculum and presented to the President of BCC. The curriculum was approved and courses are now being offered at BCC.

Supply Chain Management certified. Certification was awarded based on development for applications of the logistics quad model to be used in industry to best determine outsourcing strategy.
