Douglas D. Bell
Dr. Bell has a BM., MM., and DMA from the University of South Carolina. Additional Studies at California State University-San Bernardino. Holds Doctoral Level Teacher Certification in Instrumental and Choral Music for State of South Carolina and a California Single Subject Credential in Music. Over fourteen years of college teaching experience (as adjunct professor) at USC, Midlands Technical College, Barstow College, Bladen Community College, Westhills College and Coker College, as well as eight years of public school experience. Has worked as a music consultant for Apple Computer, Inc., has over twenty published articles in various publications, on the editorial committee of the American String Teachers Association, member of American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, and is the recipient of the Stephen B. Dalton Distinguished Teaching Award at the University of South Carolina.
