Mrs. Loudon's Comments
As we spend the next few weeks together discussing the fundamentals of management I would like you to keep in mind that several of the concepts covered in this course will assist you as you enroll in any future management classes. Management is increasingly changing as we continue to see rapid growth in technology. Taking this course online provides you a unique opportunity in that while learning the basic concepts of management you will also be getting some experience with the technology that is included in most management positions.
Before You Start
Begin this week's lesson by reading the "Before You Start" lecture and completing the assignments within it. The items I discuss in this lecture should help this class run smoother for you. Please do not try to take a shortcut by passing over this lecture. You will miss valuable information if you do.
One Final Comment for this Week
Please fill out the PROCTOR FORM if you have not already done so. Please have this form completed and submitted to me by the end of week two. I will be contacting all proctors for verification of their qualifications and willingness to proctor the final exam. Even if you are taking your exam at the Barstow College campus in Barstow or Fort Irwin, please submit your proctor form.
