Instructor Information

Your Instructor: Mr. RadzikowskiI have a B.A. in History and a minor in Education from York College. I earned my M.A. in International Relations at Salve Regina University. I am an alumnus of the Army War College in Carlisle, Pa and a graduate from the fellowship program at the Asia-Pacific Security in Honolulu, Hawaii.

As the degrees I have earned reflect, I bring a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approach to my teaching. The courses and the issues that I teach tend to be intricate and interrelated, the factual material can be voluminous and the theoretical lenses we can bring to bear on it often seem to lack explanatory power. My preference in dealing with these challenges is simply to teach in an inclusive manner, influenced by the ‘Socratic’ method. In this way I hope through discussion questions and independent research to draw my students into the process of interactively seeking the meaning structures that link and explain the basic historical facts. In general I favor structuring a course around ‘themes’.

I have taught American History I and II for Central Texas College. I have taught U.S. Military History and American Foreign Policy (Political Science) for Park University.

I am presently teaching American History for Central Texas College, Park University, Public Policy, & A History of the Vietnam War, Palomar College, American History I & II and U.S. Military History and Mt. San Jacinto College; World Civilization I and II and American History.

My areas of interests in American History and Political Science are the root cause of conflict and its resolution.
