My name is Lori Bohnsak. I will be your instructor for this class.

My husband and I just celebrated our 25^th anniversary by going to Europe. I have three beautiful daughters, a wonderful son-in-law, a two-year-old grandson and another grandbaby on the way and another soon to be son-in-law.

I feel very blessed that I have been able to choose a profession that I truly love, working with children. I am a State preschool teacher. I work for the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools. I have worked for SBCSS for 10 years. I have two classes of 3-5 year olds for a total of 48 children a day. I am also a mentor with Victor Valley College. I love being able to share my knowledge and my passion with other possible preschool teachers.

I also teach early childhood environmental rating scale (ECERS) for a program called CARES. The ECERS is a tool used to set up the environment of a preschool to maximize the children’s growth and learning. I’ve also taught at several conferences and put together in-services for preschool teachers.

One of my philosophies is that we all come from different lives, cultures and experiences, so we can learn from one another. I look forward to teaching you and sharing my knowledge and experiences with you.
