If you are using a proctor for taking the final exam instead of
taking the exam on campus or at Fort Irwin or Miramar, you must submit the
following form.
First read the official Barstow Proctor Statement
below to help you determine who is eligible for proctoring your exam:
An approved "PROCTOR" MUST & WILL
give the final examination in the course. No exceptions will be made to
this Barstow Community College policy. The proctor will be required to
check the student's picture identification prior to administering the
final examination. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that
their proctor is identified. The exam will be proctored at the Main
Campus Library or the Fort Irwin Education Center, Barstow College site.
If the student is not physically located near either location he/she may
be proctored by an instructor or director at their local education
center or a professional person approved by the instructor. The final
examination will NOT be sent to anyone other than the approved proctor
either by i.e., regular mail, e-mail, or fax. The instructor decides who
is appropriate.
