Final Exam Information
Your final exam will
be an open book/open note exam and you will have no more than 2 hours to
complete the exam. The exam must be taken during week 7 or 8. No extensions will be
granted. Failure to take the final exam this week will result in a grade
of 0%.
It is the students sole responsibility to find out the Main
Campus Computer Lab Hours during this week and to make appropriate
arrangements with work, etc. to take the exam during the computer lab's
operating hours. Be sure to allow a minimum of 2 hours
to complete the exam prior to the closing of the computer lab as you will have
only one chance to take this exam. You may either take the exam at the Main
Campus Computer Lab or the Fort Irwin Education Center. You will
need to be present with a picture ID during
the computer lab's and/or Fort Irwin office's normal operating hours. If you
intend to take your exam at the Fort Irwin Education
Center you will need to contact Peggy
or one of her representatives to schedule a date and time for your exam.
The exam is open book and open note. It is
comprehensive and consists of multiple choice questions. It is similar in
nature to your quizzes and midterm exam. The exam will be taken online and
only your proctor will be sent access instructions.
If a student is unable to come to either the Fort Irwin Education Center or
the Main Campus Computer Lab to take the final, it is the student's
responsibility to find an approved proctor, such
as a librarian, military educational officer, or clergy member, and an
approved site, such as a library, military education office, or a church, and
to have the instructor approve the proctor arrangements. As soon as the
instructor has approved the proctoring arrangements, he will send a copy of
the final instructions to the proctor. Your proctor MUST have
computer capabilities.
